Do you want to be more politically active but don't know where to start? Do you have questions about politics, activism and social justice? Do you want to be more involved in local affairs? Do you have ideas how to better your community? Then come to our Persistance Fair.
2016 election made us all realize that hoping that things will work out on their own is no longer an option. So Women's March and various local grass-roots groups, including YPDA Hawaii, are working together to resist Trump administration's agenda, recognizing that defending the most marginalized among us is defending all of us. We call on all defenders of human rights to join us.
This fair is open to the public and anyone interested in volunteering can visit, ask questions and find projects, events and groups that they would like to join.
