Speakers will be representatives from HSTA, Corey Rosenlee, Office of LibraryServices, Mallory Fujitani, Office of the State Librarian, and Matthew Brown, District Administrator, Executive office of Early Childhood Education, Lauren Moriguchi, and pending scheduling problems, Representatives from the BOE, and the Governors office. Representatives from the legislature will also be in attendance.
The purpose of the forum is to provide a broad spectrum of information on the status of education for the children of Hawaii today, what it takes to provide it, what it costs, where the money comes from, and how you can help. There will be a question and answer period following each speaker which will include information on the hopes for legislative action in the upcoming session. Please RSVP the Democratic Party Headquarters so we know how many are attending.
